In September, our elementary kids will focus on “knowledge,” discovering something new so you can be better at whatever you do. They will learn that the ultimate source of knowledge is our all-knowing God. So it makes sense that we need to find out and understand what God says in the Bible and through His Son Jesus. We’ll help them realize Jesus as a child was not too young for knowledge, and neither are they. Jesus took the time and made the effort to learn what God says in Scripture, and so can they. All that time and effort to listen to and learn what God says is worth it. Because as they grow in their knowledge of what God says, it’ll change their perspective and help them make wise choices. They’ll start seeing things the way God sees things—which will change everything!
